  • Identify a topic of our choice related to the field of Learning Technologies 

  • Develop a module on Articulate Rise, Canvas, or an approved LMS highlighting multiple learning theories to support meaningful learning

  • Incorporate academic articles and industry research

Process

  • Developed a team project timeline to manage task completion 

  • Researched academic and industry literature related to virtual reality in the work place 

  • Planned for the use of multiple learning theories throughout the lessons that I designed - behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and social constructivism 

  • Provided and received feedback on the individually-created lessons throughout the module.

Result

  • Independently designed the "About Course" and "VR in the Workplace" sections of the module 

  • Outlined the uses, benefits, weaknesses of VR in the workplace 

  • Incorporated organized information, flashcards, collaboration boards, videos, demonstrations, and simulated conversations to help learners engage with content material in a variety of ways
